New Feature Alert!

Hi Beta Testers,

As part of our valued Beta testing group, we’re providing you with advance access to the latest Buildings API feature. We’ve just added a reverse geocoder that provides another way into our award-winning Geoscape dataset.
You don't need to provide a location address, simply point us in the right direction and we’ll do the rest. So if you have a lat/long we can provide details of the closest building or you can set a radius up to 100 metres – feedback is welcome as we may increase this – and we’ll return everything within that range.

Sample Code

Hi Developers,

We have been playing around with new API documentation and it makes it very easy to generate sample code, if anyone needs simple Javascript code to geocode an address via PSMA's Address API.

Survey time is coming

Hi beta testers,

Just a quick update to let you know we have been working on some changes to our PAV(predictive Address Verification) APi and hope to be able to show you all soon.

On another note, hopefully early next week we will send out a short survey. We would love your honest feedback if you can spare a moment to reply that would be great!

Cheers

Portal Issues

Hi All,

This morning we identified a sync issue after several security updates got pushed live to our portal(drupal), as such, anyone signing up last night may have had an issue logging in.

If your account is having troubles logging in, please email beta@psma.com.au and we will manually fix the login credentials.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Cheers

What have we been up to?

Hey there beta testers,

What have we been up to?

Well, we launched the Addresses API last week, so if you have any feedback, please send it to beta@psma.com.au (please do, we love feedback and can't build a better product with out it!)

This week a few of from the team enjoyed the day in Sydney with the team from Google at the iloveapis event. Was a great day learning more about our API gateway product, Apigee.

Cheers

Addresses API is go!!

Hey there beta testers,

Really happy to announce we have pushed the GO button on the Addresses API and it's live and running. Your Buildings API key will give you access, so, no need to create anything new. Check out the docs for more information.

If you haven't got a key, send an email to beta@psma.com.au and we will get it sorted for you.

Cheers

Patrick

You may have noticed...

Hey there beta testers,

You may have noticed some changes...

We are pushing out some changes to the portal, keen eyes may have already spotted the newest member of our API's, the Addresses API. As part of that, we have been updating our documentation and legal. Unfortunately, it has pulled our docs offline for a bit, so we are working on them and they will be back up shortly.

If you haven't joined the beta, don't stress it's not too late! You can still join now and get access to both our Buildings and Addresses API.

Cheers

Patrick

NEW API.. coming soon!

Hey there beta testers,

Just wanted to give you all a quick heads up, all going well we should release a new API into the Beta Program next week!

We are pretty excited and once I can tell you more, I will.

Ahhhh, I can't help myself, one more bit of info won't hurt.

It's called Addressing API and it expands from the first two calls we use in the Buildings API

Cheers

Patrick
